Miss P sent me the “Sarah” earrings. These 2 inch long red filigree earrings are absolutely gorgeous! I have sensitive ears and was happy to learn these are hypoallergenic. Another concern because of the size of them was them stretching my ear lobes. To my surprise they were light weight.

I have sampled Young Living before but Pille sent me a different essential oil that I would like to tell you about! The Peppermint Essential Oil from Young Living is amazing! Thank you Pille for sharing this product with me.

I will admit I’m not a big fan of peppermint scent or flavor but decided to give this essential oil a try. I had a little hangover this morning and remembered what I had read about this particular essential oil helping with headache and energy. This was the perfect opportunity to but this product to the test. I rubbed a little on my wrist and temples. After 5 minutes I was amazed! My headache was GONE. And I had energy that lasted all day! I had a tingling and cooling sensation where I applied the Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil. The scent wad not over bearing which was good.

Young Living with Margie Kraus

Thank you Margie Kraus for sharing the Young Living Company with me! Have you ever wanted to try these all natural essential oils? Margie sent me a mixture of oils in 2 roll on containers. One was for bed time and the other is for the daytime. She also sent me numerous brochures that explain how you can use essential oils in your everyday life.

I used the first container half an hour before I usually go to bed. I rubbed it on my wrist and neck pulse points. I fell asleep with ease and slept through the night. I didn’t wake up throughout the night as I usually do. When I awoke the next morning I felt refreshed. I was ready to start my day. Just a fun fact that I found very interesting is how they created their name. Young Living Thrive’s essential oils is based on a historical account of 4 thieves in France during the Black Plague era. Steeped Tea with Kelly McAllister

Have you ever heard of the company by the name of Steeped Tea? I never had before Kelly McAllister introduced me to it. Don’t let the name fool you! They are so much more than just tea. Thank you Kelly for sharing these products with my family.

The first product we tested was the Smoky Maple Vinaigrette Mix. I used this dry mix on pork chops. It was so simple to use. Just laid the pork chops onto a baking pan and sprinkled the mix over them. I backed them for half an hour. I will admit I wasn’t sure if I would like the flavor because of the sweetness on the meat. Oh how wrong I was! It had a rustic taste with a hint of sweetness from the maple. My husband and kids agreed by cleaning their plates.

My husband then tried the Strawberry Fields Tea. This is an organic green tea. It can be made hot or poured over ice for a cool refreshing drink. This is what my husband had to say: “Have you ever tried the bottles of Lipton Green Tea with Citrus you can by at the grocery store? Well you can get that same amazing taste and level of refreshment from the Steeped Teas Strawberry Fields Green Tea! When I brewed my self a cup of this tea I didn’t know what to expect, as I had never tried making a green tea in my home, but I was beyond delighted with the results. Please excuse my hyperbole here but I feel it necessary! It was like drinking a cup of summer! It combines the rejuvenating qualities of green tea with the refreshment of strawberries and papayas. I can’t wait to get some more and try it over ice while sitting on the patio watching the kids in the pool.”

My husband then tried the After Eight Tea. I’m not big on mint flavor so I let him have this one! This is a black tea with a chocolate thin mint flavor. It is suggested to drink this after a meal. I fixed it for him and let the tea bag steep for 4 minutes. This is what he had to say: “I have to admit I was skeptical when Staci told me about the After Eight black tea and that it was supposed to taste like a “thin mint”. Don’t get me wrong I like thin mints, but in a tea? Being an amateur “foodies”, though, I took the cup with an open mind after dinner. Again, I was pleasantly surprised with the product. It had the same soothing effect that a nice cup of hot tea in the evening does, and truly tasted like i was drinking an Andes Mint. I would liken it to hot chocolate without the rich filling characteristics. that often leaves you feeling bloated. I’d definitely keep it stocked in the cupboard to sip on when we’re tuck inside watching it snow this winter.”

Who isn’t looking for quick and simple dinner solutions these days? In today’s “on the go” society bent on instant results one unfortunate side effect is the slow dissolution of the home cooked meal. The Crystalwave Soup Mug is perfect for packing in my lunch. I’m an in home nurse so this container is wonderful to take with me to work. The soup mug doesn’t just have to be for soup! It has many uses. It holds up to 2 cups of food and has a vent hole on top. The vent hole can be opened and closed for storing and cooking. This helped cook my lunch faster and evenly. Plus it didn’t splash and splatter all over the microwave. When I searched for recipes using this product I found many but 2 that I want to try is cooking eggs and cake in a mug. I will never have a dull lunch again!

The Cinnamon Vanilla Seasoning is absolutely delicious! I made pancakes this morning and added a little of the seasoning to my batter. My twin 2 year olds ate them with no complaints! The flavor was good. I look forward to trying more recipes with this product. I plan on trying the Monkey Bread recipe tonight.

I remember using Tupperware since I was a kid. My mother’s tea pitcher that we used everyday was made by this company. We also owned cups, bowls and more! I don’t ever remember having to replace any of these items. They stood sturdy through us 4 kids and 5 grand-kids.
